This evening I dove home from an event held in Houston by my company's leadership and as I went down the highway South Texas got some long needed rain. The drops came down pretty hard and I saw cars pulling over onto the shoulder waiting for the storm to pass. It made me think about how people approach this profession.

What is an excuse? How are we using them? An excuse is just a lie you tell yourself that you have bought into. If you're making excuses for the small things in your life, I guarantee you're making excuses about the big things too. You have to understand that you were designed and wired to do something specific, and you can either be a bad imitation of someone else or you can be the best YOU that you can be.
